WTFO is an acronym invented and used by the Navy. The acronym, when used, is usually in the form of a question (as in WTFO?). The acronym is used when things are not quite right or results of an action are not as expected. This blog Is my commentary and opinion on events of the day.
You didn't ask me, but I'm going to tell you, anyway.
ReplyDeleteI've been blogging for a while (a little more than four years now) and I've come to understand a couple of very important things:
• though the medium is very much about the community that we form through it, blogs are, without question, OUR OWN SPACES. Don't write for anyone else; the people who come to read you come to read you because you write who you are. Once you lose that authenticity, you're a goner.
• the people who come to read you will genuinely come to care about you. We won't care that you don't write for a while because you're busy taking care of your life and the people in it; we'll still be here when you get back.
I'm sending good energy in your (and your wife's) direction.
